Afternoon Tea

Friday, Feb. 11, 2011 from 3-5 p.m.

Bring your favorite friends or your sweetheart for a leisurely afternoon tea at the Chantilly Tea Room. The tea includes an assortment of sandwiches, scones with clotted cream, preserves/lemon curd, and delectable dainties and sweets with a pot of tea. The event also includes a wonderful silent auction and door prizes. There will also be a display of visual aids given by by Desert Low Vision.

Cost: $30 ($10 may be tax deductible, check with your tax advisor)

Proceeds benefit the programs of EMVIA (a nonprofit agency that mentors people who have permanently lost their sight and helps them as well as their families cope and move toward a productive lifestyle) as well as the Downtown Lioness Club.
